Job Responsibilities:

As a seasonal worker, your duties will include:

• Maintaining and caring for Avesta municipality's and the municipal companies' paved and green areas.
• Tasks such as green space maintenance, care and upkeep of flowerbeds, perennials, plantings, pruning, weed burning, hedge trimming, as well as cleaning outdoor environments and other tasks within the unit.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with education in horticulture or equivalent experience from, for example, gardening within a municipality, church, or property company.

A B driver's license is required for the job. It is an advantage to have BE, C licenses, machine operator training, chainsaw license AB, and Work on the Road certification.

The personal qualities that are particularly important for this position are that you are service-oriented and good at collaborating with others. You also need to be self-driven and take responsibility for your own work. You will have many points of contact both internally and with the public, so it is important that you can communicate effectively in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

You also need sufficient IT skills to manage daily work, which may involve handling emails, making time reports, or writing shorter reports.

Conditions:

Positions require a criminal record extract.

Seasonal employment for 6 months.

Start date according to agreement.
